Thea joined the Centre for Personalised Medicine in 2015 and is responsible for coordinating the Centre’s programme of events and supporting its wider communications and engagement activities.

In her role as Events Co-ordinator, Thea organises a varied programme of events bringing together researchers, clinicians, students and wider audiences to explore different aspects of personalised medicine. Her work spans everything from seminars and workshops to larger conferences and public lectures, and she enjoys the variety involved in taking events from the initial idea through to delivery.

Alongside the events programme, Thea manages the CPM website and social media channels, helping to share the Centre’s work, activities and opportunities with its different audiences.

Thea has a degree in Events Management, and her experience at CPM has given her a particular interest in creating engaging events and communications that bring people together and make complex areas of research accessible to wider audiences.
