Dimitrios’ talk will explore how changes in the diet are associated with changes in the gut microbiota alongside the pros and cons of using continuous glucose monitoring for assessing the effects of food intake on blood glucose. Dimitrios is an academic dietitian and Associate Professor at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences. His research focuses on intentional weight loss as a therapeutic and preventive strategy for diseases related to obesity, such as fatty liver disease and cancer.
